I was asked last June to come down to Baja and appear in a series of films being shot for a certain red-top tobacco brand to be used in an online promotional sweepstakes. Along with five other crusty dudes we spent a week driving off road cars (me in my Bronco) around Northern Baja to complete a "poker run" in order to create the game which is now online here.
The time it takes to do the free registration for the site is well worth the chance to win some amazing prizes (Harley, Chevy truck, ATV's etc.)
Check it out!

Summer season behind the scenes
What we did during summer...
Kawasaki and Fuse kept us busy shooting in the Sequoias, Kernville, Porterville, Wrightwood, San Diego, Ortega Hwy and the Autoclub Speedway in Fontana. Filson brought us up to Seattle and Mt. Rainer. Smittybilt needed to get a Jeep stuck in the mud to illustrate their new winches and Maxxis Tires needed a shot of a boat?
We even shot a boat for Maxxis (trailer) Tires
Awesome new addition to the crew this summer, Mr. Tony Stamolis
Weather got dicey in the Pacific North West shooting for Filson
One minute like this...
The next like this...
Marshall on the set of a project I can't talk about yet.
No camera truck, no problem. Ratchet strap mounting system.
Late breakfast.

Thanks to Doug Henry for the great Kawasaki BTS pics.

Stéphane Peterhansel slides around Morocco
In preparation for the Dakar rally we went to Morocco and shot Stéphane Peterhansel and his Monster Energy MINI in an unlikely environment... the streets of Erfoud.
The actual city footage was shot in less than 4 hours with just two cameras.
Video teaser:
Main Video:
The normally empty streets of Erfoud were a crowd control nightmare as the king of Morocco just happened to be in town.
The extras enjoyed the complimentary Monster drinks.
This date vendor had to be relocated and "compensated" for his time.
We drew a crowd quickly at every spot we shot at.
It took some convincing before team owner Sven Quandt was on board for jumping his race car out of the back of a semi truck.
Brian Deegan
Deegan killed the competition on his way to winning Dirtsports driver of the year. Before the shoot his only request was for a chainsaw and blood...
